Title: Outreach Specialist
\nProgram: Project Faith, Faith Based HIV Prevention
\nStart date: ASAP<\/p>\n

Description: Reports to the Program Manager. Responsible for implementing Latino Faith Based HIV prevention program activities to include, but not limited to: Outreach to church leaders of all religious beliefs; conduct needs assessments; recruit faith leaders for community advisory board (CAB); conducts training workshops; coordinates 1 day faith conference; assists in developing HIV\/AIDS awareness activities; increase participation of faith leaders and congregants in HIV\/AIDS activities; assist in the development of program\/educational materials; create and implement various program curriculums, translation of documents to Spanish; ability to transcribe; basic cleaning; and any other assignments given by management.<\/p>\n

Office location: 111 N. Ave. 56, Los Angeles, CA 90042<\/p>\n

Hours: Full time position – Mondays through Fridays, some weekends<\/p>\n

Salary: 31,000\/ Annually<\/p>\n

Benefits: Medical and Dental insurance, two weeks paid vacation after one year of employment, 10 paid sick days and 11 paid holidays.<\/p>\n

Qualifications: Must have an AA Degree, two years of experience on HIV\/AIDS prevention, and should have knowledge of conducting business with churches from various denominations. Excellent communication and written skills, excellent computer skills, proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and other office equipment. Automobile with proper driving license and liability insurance. Should be able to work in a diverse and professional environment. Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.<\/p>\n
