Epidemiologist III<\/p>\n

Duties:<\/p>\n

* Provides direct oversight and supervision of day to day STD
\nsurveillance activities, and ensures maintenance and overall integrity
\nof a variety of STD and related databases.
\n* Oversees data requests required and ad hoc reports, conducts and
\noversees data cleaning and analysis and ensures timely reporting of
\nmorbidity data to city, state and national agencies as required.
\n* Ensures completion of tasks and attainment of goals and
\nobjectives related to the work unit.
\n* Provides oversight of the activities of the federal assignee STD
\nSurveillance Operations Manager and the Epidemiologist II.
\n* Provides input on performance appraisals and applies basic
\nprinciples of leadership including coaching, training, mentoring,
\nevaluation.
\n* Performs related duties as required.<\/p>\n

Location: Miles Square – STD Surveillance
\nShift: Monday – Friday
\nHours: 8:00am – 4:00pm<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s
\ndegree in Public Health, Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative
\nfield, supplemented by four years of progressively responsible
\nexperience in epidemiological and statistical analysis.<\/p>\n
