The American Chemistry Council, a national trade association
\nrepresenting the world’s leading chemical and plastics manufacturers,
\nhas an excellent opportunity for a Manager of Environment, Health and
\nSafety issues to support our members’ activities in the areas of
\nproduct stewardship, recycling and recovery, raw materials analysis
\nand more. This function encompasses all environmental, health and
\nsafety issues related to the polyurethanes industry as a key member
\nof our business unit, the Center for Polyurethanes Industry.<\/p>\n
As EH&S Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the strategic
\nplanning and budget development of assigned CPI Groups; monitoring
\nand reporting on the financial status of Group projects; act as study
\nand report adviser for technical projects; communicate results of
\nresearch studies; educate downstream users on the health and safety
\nof polyurethane raw materials, coordinate & facilitate meetings
\nincluding agendas, minutes, action item memos, and; write, edit and
\nreview materials involving EH&S issues; and provide a critical
\ninterface with sister and downstream industry groups.<\/p>\n
