Ibis Reproductive Health aims<\/p>\n<p>to improve women&#8217;s reproductive autonomy, choices, and health worldwide. Master&#8217;s or higher degree in Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology or a related social science<\/p>\n<p>field (or equivalent experience), and demonstrated interest and experience in reproductive health<\/p>\n<p>or social science research, policy and\/or advocacy;<\/p>\n<p>2. Familiarity with academic and independent social science research contexts and with researcher<\/p>\n<p>career paths;<\/p>\n<p>3. At least five years of progressive experience demonstrating strong program management<\/p>\n<p>expertise;<\/p>\n<p>4. Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;<\/p>\n<p>5. Proposal writing, reporting, and fundraising experience, preferably within the reproductive<\/p>\n<p>health field;<\/p>\n<p>6. Familiarity with abortion and reproductive health and rights policy and advocacy in the United<\/p>\n<p>States and internationally;<\/p>\n<p>7. Ability to make and carry out decisions independently; creativity and flexibility; dedication to<\/p>\n<p>team building, staff development, and collaboration; and<\/p>\n<p>8. A sense of humor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Managing fellowship recruitment, review, and selection;<\/p>\n<p>2. Planning and coordinating fellowship annual meetings, trainings, and seminars and the Social<\/p>\n<p>Scientists&#8217; Networking Meeting (held each year in association with the National Abortion<\/p>\n<p>Federation annual meeting);<\/p>\n<p>3. Expanding fellows&#8217; policy and advocacy networks by facilitating connections for fellows relevant<\/p>\n<p>to their areas of research;<\/p>\n<p>4. Organizing external review of fellows&#8217; research proposals;<\/p>\n<p>5. Facilitating connections among sites and fellows and related clinical researchers;<\/p>\n<p>6. Coordinating preparation and submission of national fellowship program and site budgets,<\/p>\n<p>proposals, and reports for donors, ensuring that reporting is timely, accurate, and complete; and<\/p>\n<p>7. Designing and implementing outreach strategies to raise the profile and visibility of the Ellertson<\/p>\n<p>Fellowship and of the fellows&#8217; work and to generate strong and deep applicant pools, including<\/p>\n<p>communicating and promoting the goals and activities of the Ellertson Fellowship to selected<\/p>\n<p>audiences through websites, newsletters, discussion lists, brochures, and national professional<\/p>\n<p>and discipline meetings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong>: Commensurate with experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates and term of assignment<\/strong>: Position is available immediately.
