$51,744.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">BENEFITS<\/span><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Missouri State Employee Retirement System (MOSERS) provides retirement, life insurance, survivor and disability benefits; Missouri Consolidated Healthcare Plan (MCHCP) provides medical, vision, dental and Employee Assistance Program benefits (some of these benefits may not be available in all areas of the state); Missouri Deferred Compensation Plan (CitiStreet); Missouri Cafeteria Plan; Missouri Voluntary Life Insurance; 15 days paid annual leave per year for new full-time employees (accrual rates increase with years of service); 15 days paid sick leave per year.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">DEFINITION:<\/span><\/strong> This is advanced technical and specialized work in conducting document reviews and providing guidance, assistance and training to water\/wastewater operators.\u00a0 An employee in this class provides technical leadership and expertise in technical document reviews, development and implementation of the water\/wastewater certification program and the development and presentation of training programs and related materials.\u00a0 Work involves serving as a resource and consultant to other staff within the Department and to owners and operators of water\/wastewater facilities.\u00a0 Work involves insuring the adequacy of departmental technical publications related to water\/wastewater; water\/wastewater operator training materials; and operation and maintenance manuals submitted by consulting engineering firms.\u00a0 Work may include serving as a lead worker and assisting in the training of other employees.\u00a0 General supervision is received from an administrative superior; however, the employee is expected to exercise considerable independence in the performance of assigned responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:<\/span><\/strong> Two years as a Water Specialist II with the Department of Natural Resources.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">OR<\/p>\n<p>Six years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater facility, of which two years included the operation and maintenance of mechanical primary and secondary treatment processes, and included one year of experience in charge of the facility.\u00a0 (College education with specialization in engineering, chemistry, biological sciences or closely related areas may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of two years of the required general experience.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">OR<\/p>\n<p>Six years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a drinking water supply facility, of which two years included the operation and maintenance of treatment processes for sedimentation, chemical coagulation or softening, filtration and disinfection and included one year of experience in charge of the facility.\u00a0 (College education with specialization in engineering, chemistry, biological sciences or closely related areas may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of two years of the required general experience.)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (As required by assignment)<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">:<\/span><\/strong> Possession of a Class &#8220;A&#8221;
