Incorporated in 1993, the Institute of Women & Ethnic Studies (IWES) is a not-for-profit 501[c](3) organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana.\u00a0 IWES is dedicated to improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health and quality of life for women of color and their families.\u00a0 IWES is a social change organization that strives to improve the lives of women, youth, and communities of color through sexual health education, training, and advocacy.<\/p>\n
The Youth Program Assistant is responsible for working with program staff to ensure youth participation and representation in the youth-directed initiatives of IWES.\u00a0 S\/he is responsible for assisting program staff with planning, promotion, and implementation of public health activities for youth.\u00a0 S\/he will coordinate with other IWES staff to ensure effective program implementation.\u00a0 Additional program tasks include assisting with Monitoring and evaluation, curriculum development, etc.\u00a0 This is a part-time position (approximately 10-12 hours per week) under the supervision of the Program Director for HIV Prevention.<\/p>\n
