JOB DESCRIPTION
\nDevelops, implements, coordinates and evaluates intervention activities related to the core research project entitled “Change the Environment to Increase Physical Activities”; including but not limited to: meeting with community partners and constituents, supporting lay health advisor (neighborhood presidents) activities, assigning personnel duties and working closely with the PI to develop, direct and supervise implementation of activities related to study protocols.<\/p>\n

Hires, trains, and supervises data collectors, including staff responsible for community surveys and interviews, observations in neighborhoods, and focus groups; collects data as needed; communicates with program staff and research team.<\/p>\n

Works with data analyst to analyze data that are collected.<\/p>\n

Oversees grant-related expenditures (including time sheets of hourly workers, supplies, and minor equipment) and assures that expenditures stay within budget.<\/p>\n

Conducts other activities related to research as assigned.<\/p>\n

MIN QUALIFICATIONS
\nBachelor’s degree, with professional experience in community organization and\/or community-based research. Good interpersonal skills, computer skills & time management skills.<\/p>\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\nMaster’s degree in public health or related field OR three (3) years professional work experience with administrative and supervisory responsibilities.<\/p>\n
