Imago is a grassroots urban environmental education organization
\nlocated in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Environmental Education Intern is a
\nwonderful position if you are interested in learning more about the
\neveryday, behind-the-scenes doings of a nonprofit and environmental
\neducation facility. While being a principle provider of education,
\nthe intern also has an opportunity to learn and become involved with
\nall aspects our nonprofits – including administration, education,
\ngreenspace, etc.<\/p>\n
Duties include preparing and presenting environmental education
\nprograms to school and community groups, in particular low – income,
\nurban groups. Summertime interns will be intimately involved with our
\nsummer camp groups leading hikes, explorations, games, crafts and
\nactivities during 6 different weeklong daycamps. Interns will also be
\nleading volunteer groups. Finally interns will be asked to complete a
\nproject(s) designed to improve Imago and give the intern
\nopportunities for growth and experience.<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should be motivated and willing to learn, have
\na passion for environmental issues, and be comfortable leading
\nchildren groups.<\/p>\n
