This week we are highlighting Dr. Alessandra Bazzano, PhD, MPH. Dr. Bazzano’s research interests focus on community based nutrition, specifically that of women and children.<\/p>\n

She recently had an article published in the Journal of Stroke titled, “Association between Hemoglobin A1c and Stroke Risk in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.” This article looks at the association between a specific hemoglobin, typically used as a glycemic level indicator, and the risk of\u00a0stroke in patients with Type 2 diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n
