We have multiple programs designed promote scholarship in rural health, preventive medicine, and patient oriented research. Our multi-media outreach coordinator will be working with all these programs.<\/p>\n<p>Deliverables:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update and expand Preventive Medicine Residency Website.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain a SAPORO (Southern Area Patient Oriented Research Organization) website that integrates with the Department of Family Medicine Website and Preventive Website that meets\/complies with Tulane requirements\/templates<\/li>\n<li>Update and compile a Tulane Preventive Medicine Alumni List along with current contact information<\/li>\n<li>Create and distribute a Preventive Medicine News Letter every 6 months by email and hard copy.<\/li>\n<li>Create other promotional material to promote the Preventive Medicine Residency Program as well as Tulane\u2019s TRIP program.<\/li>\n<li>Update the Tulane Preventive Medicine Wiki Site<\/li>\n<li>Potentially attend promotional events such as residency fairs<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student of Tulane University majoring in public health, health care administration, IT, public relations, graphic design, other health related field, or related work experience<\/li>\n<li>Able to start this Spring or Summer 2017<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design and maintain a website within Tulane University guideline<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work schedule with ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of the English language.<\/li>\n<li>Skill in designing multi-media outreach materials such as brochures, newsletters, and other outreach materials.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in working with many different people working in public health, research, and primary care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested please email your CV and contact information to Dr. Clare Hoff at choff@tulane.edu and CC Lisa Dougherty at lmills@tulane.edu<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Primary Care Media and Outreach Coordinator Dates: Spring and Summer Academic Sessions of 2016 Hours: 8-12 Hours a week for duration of Spring and Summer 2017 sessions Pay\/Stipend: Stipend Available Description: Tulane Department of Family and Community medicine is a department committed to primary care and the community medicine through a patient centered approach.
