About CGSGI
\nEstablished by President Bill Clinton and Canadian philanthropist Frank
\nGiustra in 2007, CGSGI is an innovative partnership between the William
\nJ. Clinton Foundation (the ‘implementing partner’ for CGSGI), the
\nprivate sector, governments, local communities, and NGOs to increase the
\nscale, scope, impact, and sustainability of social and economic
\ndevelopment efforts in countries where the natural resource industries
\nare an important part of the economy.<\/p>\n
CGSGI will build on the Clinton Foundation’s proven track record as an
\noperational NGO in the developing world, and on President Clinton’s
\nability to mobilize political will and spark multi-sectoral cooperation.
\nCurrently, the initiative is being launched in three countries in Latin
\nAmerica-Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. In the coming months, CGSGI will
\nlook to expand its activities into Africa.<\/p>\n
Job Description:
\nThe Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will act as local independent
\nreviewer of all project results, expenditures and issues, including
\naggregating and reporting at country level as needed. S\/he is
\nresponsible for providing regular reports to both the Country Manager
\nand the Monitoring and Evaluation Director on project information and
\nrisks.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n* Identify critical indicators and establish monitoring and
\nevaluations systems for CGSGI in country projects as needed
\n* Collect, manage and analyze data to support and improve the
\nquality of CGSGI projects
\n* Provide project managers with technical assistance and support
\nto effectively manage risks and enhance data management systems
\n* Document and disseminate best practices in managing data to
\nimprove and support CGSGI goals
\n* Report on risks and mitigation effects to Country Manager
\n* Report in-country issues as needed to Monitoring and Evaluation
\nDirector
\n* Review project reports and information for reliability and
\nconsistency
\n* Support Country Manager and Project Manager as needed in
\ndeveloping and managing budgets and fiscal requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n* Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
\n* Experience working with IT reporting systems
\n* Proven diplomatic and interpersonal skills
\n* Excellent quantitative and problem solving skills
\n* Management reporting experience, preferably in public sector
\nsettings and\/or international development environments
\n* Comfort operating in ‘internal audit’ role and building
\neffective working relations
\n* Fluency in English and language of country of operation<\/p>\n
Pluses:
\n* Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with remote head
\noffice
\n* Experience with matrix reporting preferred<\/p>\n
