Reporting to a unit supervisor, the analyst will collect, organize, and analyze data in order to evaluate existing MH programs and administrative practices, and assist in the development of new programs and practices. The analyst will also be responsible for working with Division program managers to coordinate and improve processes, including a quarterly review of performance measures. Finally, the analyst will help develop analyses of costs and funding sources for MH programs. DOHMH is a recognized leader and innovator in public health and mental hygiene services nationally and internationally. The Office of Policy and Planning is part of DOHMH's Division of Finance and Planning (F&amp;P), which has central responsibility and authority for policy analysis, program development, performance tracking and improvement, financial management, resource maximization, and technical assistance. Policy and Planning works with programs throughout the Department to ensure that they have the information, analysis, funding and technical capacity to deliver critical services effectively.
